BVLGARI HOTEL

Project Scope: Concept Landscape Design, Schematic Landscape Design

Project Summary: Centrally located near The Bund in downtown Shanghai, Randy was part of the concept design team for the Hotel Landscape working directly with the BVLGARI executive team. Acknowledging the historic context of the Shanghai Chamber of Commerce Plaza, the design draws inspirations from the Piazza Della Signora in Florence, Italy and focuses on re-energizing the space for pedestrian access. 

Unique design features include a peaceful private garden, intricate paving patterns and with the use of specific plant materials, continual visual interest throughout all of Shanghai’s seasons.  This new plaza oasis will be enjoyed by community residents, families, hotel guests and retail consumers alike.
